This Chica is a Texas transplant. Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley bordering Mexico in South Texas, she learned how to cook alongside some of the best home cooks around.
Mari, alongside her husband John Lee and daughter Izzy, serve up food made to represent a mixture of Tex Mex cuisine and traditional Mexican flavors.
Pica Chica’s goal is to introduce you to the many flavors available using chili peppers. Chili peppers can add so much flavor without adding heat. Tacos are an addiction all over the world and can be as diverse as the region they are served in.
